Duck It!
The idea for Duck It™ started one evening when our family was out running errands and got a surprise when we came out to the parking lot...a rubber duck carefully placed in the door handle of our jeep. "Where did this duck come from and what did it mean?"
A quick Google search provided the details that we sought. "Ducking" was a pay-it-forward, random complement of kindness - from one jeep owner to another. Apparently, someone had taken a fancy to our jeep and bestowed our first duck upon us!
This was the kind of thing that we could get behind. From that day forward it was on! We kept at least one extra duck with us at all times, and when we came across a jeep that really grabbed our attention, we one of us would exclaim, “Duck it! Duck it!"
Some frantic brainstorming followed, and our plans for Duck It™ began to take shape. It was time to get quacking—excuse us, cracking—in early 2023.
From there, it was a lot of designing, revising, and late nights. We worked tirelessly to breathe life into our vision of creating a fun family business.
We put in all this work for a reason. We wanted to create a brand that would serve as a reminder of two things that we feel are very important:
- Give a Duck about others. Be randomly and passionately kind each day. Smile. Care. Bring some ferociously awesome good to the world!
- Sometimes you need to throw caution to the wind and say yes to adventure. Call a friend and say “Duck It!” and go chase your dreams.
